For this year's Manchester After Hours event, the Museum of Science and Industry is teaming up with the Engine House Collective (Islington Mill) to develop an audiovisual installation in the Air and Space Hall.

Projected directly onto the huge Avro Shackleton aircraft in the centre of the hall, the work will explore ideas of surveillance. Designed in Manchester, the Shackleton operated as a patrol and early warning aircraft–an eye in the sky in a pre-digital age.

Expect bold visuals, immersive sound and atmospheric lighting as the collective bring their varied styles and approaches together, and try your hand at creating your own visual designs.
