STEM Support and Resources

The STEM Ambassador Hub Trans-Pennine is managed by the Science Museum Group on behalf of STEM Learning, delivering the STEM Ambassador Programme across three regions.

On these pages you will find information and resources for schools, youth groups, employers and volunteers in Greater Manchester and across the Trans-Pennine region.

STEM Ambassadors

STEM Ambassadors are volunteers from industry and academia who work, study or research in a STEM field. They are passionate about what they do and have a desire to pass on their enthusiasm to inspire the next generation of STEM professionals.

STEM Support for Schools and Non-School Groups

The STEM Ambassador programme allows teachers and educators to access a large cohort of volunteer role models who will directly or indirectly support you to inspire young people between 5 and 19 years old within the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

STEM Opportunities for Employers

Our team can help your employees inspire the future generation of STEM professionals, while developing their own skills and building contacts within the community.
